The Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA) was passed with bipartisan support in April 2015. This legislation introduced the Quality Payment Program (QPP) which represents the largest reform in Medicare Part B Payments in over 30 years and a definitive shift in emphasis to quality of care of quantity of services.
